I get distracted easily. Tearing me from all responsibilities for the past couple of days has been the Game Expo that dwarfs all others, E3!!!!
Going up on this site we will be bringing you video, screen shots, interviews, and photos from the convention floors. I had the opportunity to preview games that don' have a release date yet, and sit in on demonstrations of games that will change the way we look at this new budding industry. I have nothing but the best to report on from Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft, so please stay tuned for my E3 round up.
On a personal note I would like to thank a few people for the incredible 3 days I've had. Thank you Capcom for all the solid favors you guys have pulled for me the past few days, Mega Man 3 For Life!
Thank you Id Software for letting me preview Wolfenstein, and if I can make it I would love to be at Quakecon.
Thank you Sony Online for the chance to preview the Agency and DC Universe online. Thank you SCEA for every game that was on display.... but most of all GOD OF WAR!!! And thank you Andy Beaudoin and Zipper Interactive for MAG, thank you for keeping the PS3 Hardcore.
Bungie....... in 10 minutes of playing ODST I am far more impressed than I was already from Halo 3, kudos to you gentlemen.
Sega, finally climbing back into the driver's seat and releasing some amazing stuff. This is the Sega we love and remember from the 16 bit wars.
Anthony Burch, pleasure meeting you, don't be so depressed over Katamari, man.
James Rolfe, stay Angry man
Thank you Bethesda for letting me preview Brink, I will try to give the review of what I saw even the most remote justice to the glorious sites I beheld. Spoiler alert to all our readers: I was DROOLING over this game! This may honestly be the best looking games I saw at E3.
Thank you Ignition Entertainment for keeping the fight alive, KING OF FIGHTERS that is.
I met Cammie Dunaway in the hall, she is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Nintendo. WOW, THE NICEST PERSON I HAVE EVER MET! Cammie, Nintendo is lucky to have you. As much as I love jumping on my Call OF Duty's and Metal Gears, I sometimes forget Nintendo is in this to have fun, and you are an absolute delight to chat with. Thank you Nintendo for being a staple of my childhood, my SNES is still getting plenty of use to this day.
Finally, Tim Schafer, Double Fine Productions, and the visionary bringing HEAVY METAL to video games with Brutal Legend. I introduced myself to him, told him that i was the resident Headbanger on this site. He looked at me and said: "I made this game just for you!" To him I must reply: " I be not worthy." To everyone reading this: "SUCK IT! TIM MUTHAFUCKING SCHAFER MADE THE ULTIMATE GAME JUST FOR ME!!!!"
Stay tuned, full reviews on the way
